Mariesa Osterhaus

Founder of WORKSHOP FITNESS and BARRE WORKSHOP, Mariesa has created a transformational approach to fitness. She is available for private sessions and also teaches many of the group classes.

Mariesa began her career in fitness in the early 90’s. She has seen the trends from g-string leotards, the grapefruit diet and power sliding classes to dri fit wear, the cleansing diet and mind body classes. What she has learned is that the trends that stick around are not trends at all. They are disciplines with a long history and consistent results.

Mariesa believes in:

  • cross training and muscle confusion to transform and maintain a physique through exercise
  • whole foods and nutritional knowledge to transform and maintain a physique through diet
  • balance and moderation to stay sane through it all

Mariesa is dedicated to staying fit and healthy and knows the difficulty involved…especially shedding those last 5 pounds. Her knowledge in several training methods allows for varied workouts that keep her clients motivated and their muscles guessing. Her attitude is genuine and understanding yet tough love at its finest.

In addition to her fitness expertise, Mariesa has a 16 year formal dance background, yin yoga study under Paul Grilley and a long list of healthy, clean and delicious recipes.
